Sea Mills to Shirehampton Walk; 15 09 2014

It is possible to walk between Sea Mills and Shirehampton railway stations along the River Avon. This is on the footpath which is the “Bristol Link” of the “Severn Way”long distance footpath. Much of it is rather wild and lovely. It is cut of from the city by the Portway road. A few small paths lead down to the footpath from the road. There are plenty of reminders of Bristol’s past and present maritime heritage, wildlife, and, as ever, the ever changing tides (and mud!).
